About Us

NORAH WILSON is an award winning author of romance. She finaled three consecutive times in the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart® contest and topped it off by winning the Romantic Times/Dorchester Publishing New Voice in Romance contest in 2003. Her award winning novel LAUREN’S EYES was published by Dorchester Publishing in 2004. These days, her romance writing focuses on sexy vampires and she’s hoping there’s room on the shelves for a few more.

Together with Heather Doherty, she also writes paranormal for the YA market under the name Wilson Doherty. What with all the action, adventure, suspense and romance they pack into their YA stories, she’s quite happy to have a relatively uneventful day job as the administrative officer for a provincial health care association.

She shares her home in Fredericton with her husband, two adult children (both in university), a Rottweiler/Lab mix and five rats.

She loves long walks on the beach and– Oh, wait, wrong website. Ah-hem, let’s try that again. Norah loves music, television, movies and all things pop culture. And she thinks teenagers are pretty cool people.

HEATHER DOHERTY fell completely in love with writing while taking creative writing courses with Athabasca University. Motivated by her university success, and a life-long dream of becoming a novelist, she later enrolled in the Humber School for Writers under the mentorship of David Adams Richards. Her first literary novel, Goody Bledsoe, was published in 2006 by Oberon Press.

While still writing literary (mostly in the young adult genre), she is beyond thrilled to be writing paranormal young adult fiction with Norah Wilson. Having an unapologetic fascination with the paranormal and spiritual, she loves exploring supernatural themes through the Wilson Doherty YA characters and dark tales.

Heather lives with her husband and two (amazing!) sons in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
