LONELY DOLLS, UNEARTHED

No, I didn't buy one of these little dolls. But oh, had I only found them in time for Christmas ... stocking stuffers for everyone on my list. (I can now picture every one on said list, breathing a sigh of relief.)

From the Etsy item page for these beauties: “These dolls are dug up from the bone yard of an old doll Factory in Germany and are original...they are not whole...they are broken from mistreatment and dirty from living underground.”

I got a serious chill when looking around the Etsy website and I came across these dolls. There really is a feel to them – lonely, searching, calling-out even. Check it out ... maybe one is calling out to you. Can you hear it weeping? Or whispering your name again and again on the darkest night of your life? Edging every so closer, until you turn on the light, and then .... Oh God, and then!

Okay, okay! Now I do have to order one.
